Last Tuesday, the boys in Year 7 - 9 and their male mentors were invited to the Male Mentor night here at St Bernard's College. The boys and their mentors were involved in activities such as Soccer, Football, Chess, Trivia, Rock Climbing and many more!
My name is Marcus Marazita and I am a student of St.Bernard's College. I am in Year 8A and I would like to share with you what we have been learning and improving on in these last two weeks. In Health and Physical education we have been doing all types of fitness tests to test our fitness and to cement what we have been learning in theory. Some of these have been: Push Ups (Muscular Strength), Curl Ups (Muscular Endurance), Beep Test (Cardiovascular Endurance) and lots more. In English we have been reading a book called “Robert Runner Newton” and we have started our chapter questions. In Humanities we have been learning about Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. In our Religious Education classes we are writing our individual prayers that we will read everyday. In our Mathematics Class we are learning integers. In Science we have been learning about matter and so far we have had two fun practical lessons which has helped us with our theory. We have also learnt so much more in Music and pastoral care.
